| Event remarks | Large epiphyte with arching stems to 1m long. Pseudobulbs elongated, robust, cigar shaped, ca. 25 x 3cm, branching above, with sheathing leaf bases. Peduncles almost completely sheathed in green, scarious bracts. Flowers large, triangular, musty-scented.Petals & sepals pale, lime green; dorsal sepal reflexed; petals covering lip & column; lip 3-lobed, cream with heavy dark mottling; midlobe crisped, margin black, prominant central bright yellow patch; callous ridges pale green; column pale anther, mottled black beneath; anther cap purplish. |
